Update on Ciao

I just wanted to let you know that the first draft of Ciao is done! I have completed and sent it off to, not only the people I usually have review my books, but two new Beta Readers as well. I am really excited about the latest book in the Stories about Melissa series, and hope that it will be the best one yet! While everyone is reviewing the rough draft, I am busy working on the cover for Ciao. I am doing things a little differently with the cover this time as well. I am using a picture that I took for the cover! I had a great time taking shots based on scenes from the book and think we came up with something great! I will launch the cover on June 13th, so please be on the lookout for it! Since the book was completed a head of schedule, even with the edits that will have to be made, it looks like it will be released a full month early, in August this year. I can't wait! In the meantime, Here is the synopsis for Ciao: Melissa has had a fantastic summer hanging out with her friends and making new ones. Life as she knows it will change when they all come together to begin their sophomore year at Dearborn High. Connections will be made and friendships will be tested. Will Melissa’s family and friends be able to help her through the challenges she will face in the upcoming months? And here is a look at two new characters being introduced in Ciao, Cassie and Giovanni.
