Shelly has been in love with Cal since they started dating in eleventh grade. Despite everyone saying that the odds were against them, they got married after graduation and built a life together. Now, six years later, she is faced with the ultimate betrayal. Devastated, her first instinct is to call it quits…

After a drunken binge at his best friends’ bachelor party, Cal betrays the one person who has always been there for him, his wife, Shelly. Terrified and realizing she might divorce him, Cal must come up with a way to prove to her that his love is true…

Cal asks Shelly for eight weeks. Eight weeks to convince her that their marriage is worth the fight. Will Shelly be able to trust him again, or will their marriage end the way many others do when faced with opposition… In divorce?

Recent 5 STAR Reads

Gravity (Mageri, #4)Gravity by Dannika Dark

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Yay! I love it. Each book is better than the last. I want to wait to start book 5, because I don't want the series to end!!!

This is book 4 in the Mageri Series. There are five altogether, and book 5, Shine, is available now. I devoured the first four books, and have the last one, but I'm waiting to read it, because I don't want it to be over… That's how good this series is!

TAUT: The Ford Book (Rook and Ronin Spinoff)TAUT: The Ford Book by J.A. Huss

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I don't know if I can express my love for Ford. I'm sure it's because I met him in the Rook and Ronin books, so I was already intrigued. I loved those books, I did, but not like I loved this one. I was rooting for Ford 100% and I'm so glad that we got to know him better and were able to understand him. I love guys who are a little broken, a little weird, a little freaky... and Ford is all of those things. The scenes with him and Kate were my favorite. I really enjoyed seeing him become attached and start to allow the touch of others. Way to go, JA Huss. I didn't want to put it down... I was reading on my tiny iPhone as I waited to go to dinner. I just couldn't wait to get back to my room and finish it, yet I didn't want it to end. I'm excited for Spencer’s books now... and I can't wait to meet you later in the year. Be prepared for a tackle hug!!! :)

Ahhhh, Ford… This is a spinoff of the Rook & Ronin series, and you meet Ford in those books, but this book exceeded my expectation. I LOVE Ford!

Return of the Ascendant (Ascendant Series, #1)Return of the Ascendant by Raine Thomas

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Return of the Ascendant is the return of the Raine Thomas that we all know and love. The way that she build new worlds and beings is one of my favorite things about her writing. And, as always, I love her men. Ty is strong, loyal, and sometimes overbearing, but totaly swoonworthy. I cannot wait to read book 2!

Raine and I began publishing at the same time, and I've read all of her books. This is a return to Paranormal for her, and I loved being back in one of her worlds!

Seven Years (Seven, #1)Seven Years by Dannika Dark

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I don't usually leave a written review, but I really enjoyed this book and want to Shout it Out! I've been on a Contemporary kick lately, but was getting tired of reading the same story line, and wanted something different. The cover is the first thing that drew me to this book. I love it. The second was the synopsis. I enjoy a great vampire book, but I'm partial to Shifters. I was hopeful and excited, and this story did not let me down. I loved the characters, main and secondary, and cannot wait to see what comes next in this series.
Great characters, great concept, great story. LOVE!

This is the first book I read from Dannika Dark, and it's the reason why I picked up the Mageri Series (see above). I really loved this book, and I can't wait until book two releases next week!
