Ok, so I'm one of those people who sucks at sentimentality or tradition. Seriously, it's bad. I don't have a favorite Christmas movie, or show or song or anything. I just love the whole season equally.
2. If you could kiss anyone under the mistletoe, who would it be??? (Significant others not allowed!)
My son. (See how I got around that??)
3. What was the best, and worst, Christmas you ever had?
The best Christmas I ever had was the first Christmas I met my husband. We were pen pals for 8 months before we finally met. He flew over from England to spend the holidays with me and for the first moment I saw him I knew he was the one!
Worst...every time he had to leave again. (Cue the AWWWs)
4. What is your favorite thing about Christmas?
Hope. Baking. Christmas carols. Hot chia lattes. Buying gifts. Seeing my family come together. Christmas Cards. The smell of a live tree. The twinkle of excitement in my son's eye. Candlelight services at church. The smell of santa on the air.
Yup...all that bundle together is my favorite thing.
5. Which character that you've written loves Christmas the most? Worst? Why?
Hannah, from In Your Embrace, would celebrate Christmas the most. She's such a giving person that she would forgo celebrating to bring a meal to anyone who may be alone or in need. She'd give the scarf off her back if you were cold. Drive across state if your car broke down just to get you to your family. She's one of those characters that I wish I could be more like.
Lucien, from my Arotas/Immortal Rose series, would NEVER celebrate Christmas. Read the books. He's sort of anti-all things Godly related and for good reason.
Thanks, Amy!

Bio:
Author Amy Miles has always been a bit of a dreamer. Growing up as an only child, and a military brat to boot, she spent countless hours escaping into the pages of a book, only to spend the following days creating a new idea of how to twist up the story to make it unique.
Since becoming a mother, Amy has slowly nourished her love of the written word while snatching writing time in the midst of soiled diapers, tumbling over legos and peering around mounds of laundry and dishes that never seem to go away. Once her only son started school, Amy was free to let her fingers dive into dark mythology, tales of betrayal and love, and explore human nature in its rawest form. Her love of seeing the world from a different angle bloomed.
Amy is the author of several novels, including her popular young adult immortal books, The Arotas Series, which are an Amazon and iBooks bestselling series. Unwilling to be defined by any one genre, she proceeded to flip over to a science fiction/fantasy based idea with her Rising Trilogy. She then dove into contemporary romance with her novel, Captivate and explored the depths of her own faith with In Your Embrace.
She is currently working on completing her Immortal Rose trilogy, a prequel to her Arotas novels. She has also embarked on two new journeys this year, one in the form of a co-written banshee trilogy, The Hallowed Realms, which is currently represented by GH Literary and she breached another genre with her upcoming adult horror novel, Wither.
