Indie-Licious Blog Hop ~ Untitled (3)

Thanks for stopping by my third installment of the indie-licious blog hop. If you've missed what's happened so far, you can read the hops featuring Sam and Judd, before seeing what's going on now.
Enjoy, and as always, let me know what you think! :)

Untitled WIP - Sam's POV

I knew I’d neverseen him before, but the heat radiating from his eyes was palpable. I felt itall the way down to my toes. When he caught my gaze, the rightside of his mouth came up in a smirk, making the fire that had lit in my veinsrun cold. I hated that smirk on site.

Why were guys so cocky? Did they assume just because youcame to a bar, you were looking to get laid?

Okay, I’ll admit that in the past, that was exactly why I went to bars… but what ever happened to romance?

Guys now seemed to think that buyinga drink or gracing you with their presence, meant that you were expected tofall on your back and welcome them with open arms.

            Ugh. It was frustrating.

I should have known better than tolet James talk me into a night out. I was not in the mood to deal with thisshit.

I turned and walked back towards thetable, eager to find James and tell her I was going to call it a night. I’msure she was about ready to head out and hook up by now anyway.

I’d almost reached the table when Ifelt a hand on my shoulder. I turned and had to look up, only to find the cockyguy from the pool room behind me. At five foot nine inches, I wasn’tused to looking up at anyone. That disadvantage threw me off a little bit.

This is a Blog Hop!

  5. Smirking is hard to resist :) I loved the inner dialogue and I still feel pretty bad for Sam. I hope she finds love, not the thing people mistake for it :)

  7. You know what's up with guys these days? Women! We've totally empowered men to treat us like crap. Err. Sorry. Great teaser! Obviously I got a little emotionally invested. :-)
