November Author Interviews with Tia Silverthorne Bach

Today I'd like to welcome, Tia Silverthorne Bach!

Thanks so much for taking the time to answer my questions.
I'm excited to have you and can't wait to learn more about you.

1. Where do you find inspiration for your books?

Everywhere from pictures to news articles to picking my teenage daughters’ brains. I love talking books and movies with people, because it gets my creative juices flowing. Then, ideas pop up faster than I can write them down.

2. Is there a routine to your writing?

I write better early in the mornings or very late at night, since I need a very calm environment. But I try to let the characters dictate. If I can’t write, but ideas are flowing, I’ll jot them down anywhere. I have notebooks filled with thoughts.

3. Who are some of your favorite writers? How have they inspired you?

Wow. Such a hard question. I respect and admire so many different writers. Since I’m also an editor, I have to give huge props to some amazing stories I’ve read lately by BJ Sheldon, Krystal Wade, and Kelly Martin. They took their own path and created some very emotional and deep material. I love to see writers push themselves, because they inspire me to ask the difficult questions of my characters. And I’m working on my second novel with four other amazing ladies who inspire me every single day: Casey L Bond, Jo Michaels, Kelly Risser, and NL Greene.

4. What are you working on now?

Chasing Eternity, the final book in the award-winning Tala Prophecy series. I want it to be an epic conclusion, so I’m really focusing on tying everything together and listening to my characters.

5. What advice would you give to unpublished writers?

Believe in yourself and write. In my latest novel, Chasing Destiny (just released 11/12/15), I wove in a battle cry… with faith, we fight. To accomplish any dream or big goal, you have to believe. But it can’t stop there. You have to fight for it and never give up.

Bio
Tia Silverthorne Bach has been married to her college sweetheart for twenty years, has three beautiful girls, and adores living in sunny California. Her daughters were born in Chicago, San Diego, and Baltimore; and she feels fortunate to have called many places home. She believes in fairy tales and happy endings and is an avid reader and rabid grammar hound.
She is an award-winning, multi-genre author and an Editor for Indie Books Gone Wild. From an early age, she escaped into books and believes they can be the source of healing and strength. If she’s not writing, you can find her on the tennis court, at the movies, reading a good book, or spooning Jif peanut butter right out of the jar.

An ancient prophecy set forth her ultimate destiny:
Destroy the lawless ones or Hell’s gate will burst open.

So much has changed since Reagan shifted for the first time. She found the grandfather and brother she thought were dead, reunited with her grandmother and aunt, met a twin sister for the first time, discovered a powerful magic pulsing through their family’s veins, fell in love, and became part of a pack.

Evil also came into Reagan’s life in the form of Rafe, a madman who commands a demon-werewolf army. He’ll stop at nothing to destroy everything good.

Destiny may have determined Reagan’s fate, but she refuses to allow it to define her path. To save the world, she must:

Gather powerful allies.
Call forth a team of angels.
Form an unholy alliance.
Discover an angel sword.
Survive devastating losses.

Along the way, Reagan will discover that strength comes from faith, from believing in the unbelievable, and a new battle cry emerges…

With Faith, We Fight
