Special Halloween Interview with Author Raine Thomas

1.   What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever heard/read/seen? It can be from a book, movie, or from the campfire at night…

When I was a kid, the urban legend of the babysitter alone in the house getting a call asking, "Have you checked the children yet?" was the scariest story I'd ever heard. By my teens, it was a toss-up between the movie Halloween and The Exorcist. As an adult, it's the electricity bill every month. Seriously, Floridians use a LOT of air conditioning!

2.   Who would you like to bring back as a zombie? Why?

I don't think I'd bring anyone back 'cuz...eww. lol

3.   What is your favorite thing about Halloween?

Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year. It signals the true introduction to fall here in Florida (even though it's still warm), and there are always so many activities centered around the holiday. Helping my daughter choose her costume is probably my absolutely favorite thing, though.

4.   What was your best Halloween costume?

I didn't have many fabulous costumes, but I did win a prize once for going as a human-sized Tootsie Roll.

5.   Is there an author out there that you’re pretty sure is a witch? Tell us who and why you think so!

That's a loaded question! lol I'll say Nora Roberts because all of her books are so good, and she writes so many every year. She MUST have magic of some kind to achieve so much and do it all so well!

Thank you, Raine!!!

In a desperate bid to save his career, Cole decides to hire someone to treat his injury, someone who will keep things off the record and out of the media. He finds the perfect solution in Everly. As mysterious as she is beautiful, she provides an enticing distraction from his pain. Soon, physical therapy is the last thing on his mind.

When an act of betrayal brings the truths they both fear to light, Cole will have to fight for the first time in his life...not just for his career, but for Everly's love.
